Are you interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about the Catholic faith? Are you baptized Catholic and interested in completing your Sacraments of Initiation, such as Holy Eucharist and Confirmation? The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and adapted for Children is for you! Click on the image to learn more about this wonderful ministry of the Catholic Church.

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission.

In order to receive the Sacrament at Holy Ghost, parents and godparents must attend our baptism preparation class which can be found in the video below. The child and godparent forms must be completed and returned to Trisha Labbe. Baptisms will be scheduled once all paperwork is received and requirements are met.

IMPORTANT: At this time, due to COVID-19 and under the directives by Bishop Duca, all baptisms are done PRIVATELY with up to 15 people in attendance including the priest.

Baptism Seminar: In good faith, watch the video below. After completion, please complete the attestation form and return to Trisha Labbe.

First Communion

First Communion is a major rite of passage in the Catholic Church. As one of the seven Sacraments, First Communion typically falls around the age of 7, when a child is deemed capable of reason and therefore able to appreciate and understand the miracle of the Eucharist.

As part of the Sacramental Preparation, Holy Ghost Catholic Church has a preparation program for both the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

Reconciliation is available on Saturdays from 3pm to 3:45pm in the church.

Congratulations to the children who received the Sacrament of First Communion the weekends of Feb. 8th & 9th !

The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the sacraments of Christian initiation. Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit to be true witnesses of Christ, and more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed. Click here for more information regarding Confirmation Preparation which can be found under our Youth Ministry page.

Congratulations to the young men and women who received the Sacrament of Confirmation with Bishop Michael Duca on Monday, Oct. 21st!
