Hip-Hip Hooray! Children's Church will resume after Labor Day!
Children's Church is the celebration of the Liturgy of the Word for Children and takes place during the 9:30am Mass. A catechist gathers the children to lead them to the Daily Mass Chapel for a prayer, reflection and activities related to the readings for the day. The leader directs them in an age appropriate lesson and activities concerning the meaning of the day’s Scriptures and how to apply these teachings to their own lives. Children who are potty-trained or older are welcome to spend time learning during the readings and homily. They return at offertory to their parents.
Adult and High School Volunteers are needed. Please contact Mallory Pagart if you can assist. For those volunteers who are 21 years of age or older, please complete the Child Protection forms found here. Thank you!
