The Holy Ghost Life Teen group attended the Baton Rouge Diocesan Youth Conference on the weekend of March 3/4, 2007. The theme of the conference was "Wake Up!" The keynote speaker for the conference was Tony Melendez. Tony was born with no arms, but his faith in God has always been strong. Tony is an incredible musician! He sings and plays the guitar with his toes! Tony's witness to young adults is a message of God's goodness and faithfulness in light all circumstances. Energetic music, skits, workshops and liturgy filled the weekend. After mingling with the kids throughout the weekend, Bishop Muench celebrated mass for the teens on Sunday morning.
